Wrap Up

Technology is used in many different ways students use it to do school work or to check facebook or even there email. You can also use technology while at work if you have research or you are trying to contact someone. Many people use it personally, for example if a family member were to move away I would use technology to call, email, or skype them. Right now we are using computers to do our school work. We also used the internet when we did our projects. Personally I use technology for calling, texting, listening to music, and for school. I learned alot from Online Experience A, my favorite thing that I created was delicious because I can put all my websites that I use on a daily basis or even once in a while so I don't forget the URL, my least favorite thing I created was probably the Podcasts when we had to record ourselves because I had to redo it like 20 times because I kept messing up.

Comparison (Blabberize/ Voki)

I think the Blabberize.com was easier to use because you just had to paste a picture on the website and then select where you want the mouth to move and record it. On voki.com you had to create your own avatar, the background, and record. I liked blabberize the best because it was the easiest one to do. I would use blabberize again if i was doing a bio on someone. I could use either of them in other classes to do a bio on someone or to tell people about myself.

50 Cent Cleared in Case

Rapper Curtis Jackson III (50 Cent) had been accused of stealing phrases from author Shadracj Winstead’s book “The Preacher’s Son-But the Streets Turned Me into a Gangster” and putting them into his song. Broken Friendship

In this story a girl gave her best friend Katie her password thinking that she wouldn’t give it to anyone else. However when the girl recieved a message from an older boy at school Katie was asked for the password and she gave it to girls who went on the account and started emailing other boys inappropriate things.

Netiquette

Netiquette is network etiquette or a set of rules for behaving properly onilne. The rules are 1. Remember the human 2. Adhere to the same standards of behavior online that you follow in real life 3. Know where you are in cyberspace 4. Respect other people's time and bandwidth 5. Make yourslef look good online 6. Share expert knowledge 7. Help keep flame wars under control 8. Respect other peoples privacy 9. Dont abuse your power 10. Be forgiving of other peoples mistakes.

This week facebook changed its news feed layout and other things on it that made members very angry , however the developers are impressed by them. Some say that the reaction was expected with such a passionate audience and that soon enough people will accept the new changes and move on.Others say it was a good/ needed change reguardless if people are upset with them or not. Theres alot more good things coming our way. RSS Feeds

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary. The website or blog creates an RSS feed, the RSS feed lives on an internet server, and the feed reader reads the RSS file and displays it. It solves problems for people who regularly use the web, it allows you to stay easily informed, saves time, and ensures privacy by not having to join a site.

About Delicious

Delicious is a social bookmarking site for storing, sharing, and discovering web bookmarks. I think its useful to have because its easier to use the bookmarks then having to type the website every time you want to use it and delicious helps you to remember the sites incase you forget them. I will use it in my personal life to help me with my blog research, to help me remember previous sites I liked, and for any other school work that I may have in the future.

Technology and Me!

I use technology for many different reasons, a few of those reasons are for socializing with my friends and family on facebook, going on YouTube to listen to music, and for homework sometimes. However I don't have a smart phone so I can only use a computer to get on the internet. I have a digital camera, an ipod, and a cell phone.
